Greetings London Families! April was a very busy month at London with the kids and teachers participating in many activities and accomplishing so much: Grandparent’s Day, Science Fair, Swimming, and Field Trips to name a few. Thank you for supporting us in our attempt to provide fantastic experiences for your children.
I would like to recognize London teachers. I have never worked with a group of educators more committed to the well-being of every child in their charge. I can say with confidence that the majority of the conversations at school are kid-focused, and the decisions they make are always is the context of “what is best for kids.”
Thank you Ms. Henderson for your wisdom and insight; thank you Mrs. Christianson for creating a warm and inviting environment for our youngest students; thank you Mr. Flagg for your technology expertise and calming nature; thank you Mr. Alkire for your sense of humor and doing the things that just need to be done; and thank you Mrs. Briggs for helping me understand how London works and for your amazing outreach to families. I have learned a lot from you all and am fortunate to be a part of London.
We began State Testing for grades 3-8 last week and will continue through the first week of June. Please be sure your student is getting plenty of rest, and encourage them to do their best. I have observed the testing sessions and am impressed with how focused students have been.
Lastly, recommend London to a friend! It is a magical place!
